Bulgaria to build additional EV charging, hydrogen refuelling stations
Bulgarian energy minister Rosen Hristov has announced two national programmes that will be piloted in the city of Burgas, with the aim to increase the country’s infrastructure for zero-emission vehicles.
The first programme is for the construction of over 200 charging stations for EVs near the existing transmission network of Bulgaria’s Electricity System Operator (ESO). Total investment is estimated at BGN 140 million ($74m), Kallanish notes.
