China's BTR to establish CAM project in Morocco
Chinese battery material company BTR announced plans to establish a company in Morocco to build a 50,000 tonnes/year lithium battery cathode material plant, Kallanish reports.
The project will be located in the Tangier Science and Technology Park in Tangier province, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, at a total investment of CNY 3.6 billion ($509 million). Construction will be carried out in phases, but the detailed schedule hasn’t been released yet.
