BorgWarner eyes European commercial market with new electric motor
Auto equipment provider BorgWarner plans to provide its new 800-volt electric motor to an as-yet unnamed European commercial vehicle original equipment manufacturer, Kallanish reports.
The Michigan-based company’s High Voltage Hairpin - HVH - 320 motor will become commercially available in 2024 in four variants. It features 97% peak efficiency and more than 400 kilowatt-hours of power.
