Biden administration champions auto semiconductor manufacturing push
The Biden administration is pushing hard to support the struggling domestic semiconductor chip industry, which has been holding back the potential of both the traditional and electric car sectors.
In a press briefing featuring National Economic Council director Brian Deese, Deese says the administration is doing what it can to support chip producers now - and trying to pass legislation guaranteeing up to $50 billion in on-going support, Kallanish notes.
