BHP to add solar, storage at Australia nickel mines
Australian miner BHP Group Ltd is adding two solar farms and a battery storage facility at its Nickel West mining project in Western Australia, Kallanish reports.
The Northern Goldfields Solar Project includes 27.4 megawatts of solar power at Mt Keith and a 10.7 MW solar farm and a 10.1 MW battery storage at Leinster, the company says.
