BHP announces second round of funding for mineral explorers
Global miner BHP has selected its second cohort of companies, from over 500 applicants, to join its mining accelerator program. The six approved companies will receive a grant of up to $500,000 each, Kallanish reports.
The scheme supports early-stage mineral exploration companies in finding the critical resources needed for the energy transition. The winning participants will also be given access to a network of internal and external industry experts.
