MANGANESE: Bezant Resources acquires manganese project in Botswana
UK-based copper-gold explorer Bezant Resources is purchasing 100% of Metrock Resources and its Kanye manganese project in southern Botswana, Kallanish reports.
Under the conditional acquisition deal, Bezant will pay around £405,000 ($543,769) to Metrock’s shareholders and will also settle debt with creditors of Metrock of roughly £14,900. The deal is subject to Botswana ministerial consent and currently estimated to complete by 15 March.
