Bester Telecom to build 5 GWh battery manufacturing capacity
Shanghai-listed 5G telecom company China Bester Group Telecom plans to invest in EV battery and energy storage system projects to form an annual production capacity of 5 gigawatt-hours, Kallanish learns.
The company said in a statement on 6 February that the aim is to build new factories, warehouses and supporting facilities, as well as purchase advanced production, testing and other equipment.
