Beijing raises 2022 new energy passenger car quota
According to Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, Beijing's 2022 annual total quota for passenger cars will remain unchanged at 100,000 units compared to 2021. Yet, the annual quota of traditional cars will be reduced from 40,000 units in 2021 to 30,000 units in 2022, and simultaneously the quota of new energy cars will be increased from 60,000 units to 70,000 units.
