Battery-grade lithium carbonate price drops over 35% ytd
As of 17 March, the average market price of battery-grade lithium carbonate has dropped to CNY 338,000 ($49,078.47)/tonne, a decline of 35.62% within the year, according to 100ppi.com.
At the recently held OFWeek 2023 conference on lithium battery and electric vehicle, several industry experts indicated that they estimate the price to further decline to about CNY 200,000/t, and some say even about CNY 150,000/t.
