Ballard, Linamar to form fuel cell powertrain JV
Ballard Power Systems and Linamar Corporation are joining forces to develop fuel cell powertrains and components for class 1 and 2 vehicles, Kallanish reports.
Under their strategic alliance, Ballard will provide the fuel cell subsystem for the planned powertrain and Linamar will provide rolling chassis, tanks, enclosures, and cradles, as well as final assembly.
