Baiyin’s JV to expand electrolytic copper foil project
The listing company Baiyin Nonferrous Group (Baiyin) has announced that it intends to start the cooperative construction of a high-end lithium-ion battery copper foil project with an annual output of 200,000 tonnes through Gansu Defu New Materials (Gansu Defu), its joint venture. That means an extra capacity of 170,000 t per year on top of its current production, Kallanish notes.
