Axpo expands battery storage capacity
Switzerland's largest producer of renewable energy, Axpo, will assume at the end of this month management responsibilities for the battery storage plant in Domat/Ems, Switzerland, that belongs to energy company Rhiienergie AG. The plant in Domat/Ems is a newly built facility with a capacity of 1.25 megawatt. The Swissgrid pre-qualification is expected shortly, a company spokesperson tells Kallanish.
