Australia’s Iron Road evaluates green hydrogen production
Australian iron ore miner Iron Road is about to start its master planning for a green manufacturing site, which includes the production of green hydrogen and ammonia, Kallanish reports.
The company said late last week that together with the Hydrogen Utility (H2U) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, it plans to develop a 5-gigawatt (GW) electrolyser powered by renewable energy on the Eyre Peninsula, in South Australia.
