Australia’s cobalt output to thrive on supportive environment
Australia’s cobalt production is set to grow an average of 5.3% in the next decade, compared with a 2.4% growth in the previous decade, Kallanish reports.
According to a new report by Fitch Solutions, production of the battery metal in Australia is forecast to reach 5,000 tonnes this year and roughly 8,000t in 2029. This year, production is set to rise 4% year-on-year.
