Australia pledges $373m to find new mineral deposits
The Australian government says it will spend AUD 566 million ($373m) across the next 10 years to find new resource deposits, including critical minerals and sources of energy, Kallanish reports.
The so-called “generational investment” will be announced by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in next week’s budget, the government said Wednesday.
