Australia approves new critical materials funding round in downstream push
The Australian government has approved the second tranche of funding under its Critical Minerals Development Program supporting 13 projects in Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.
The AUD 50 million ($33.34m) total award announced on Friday should help early to mid-stage projects to progress towards financing and production. It will also contribute to diversifying supply chains and building domestic downstream processing capacity, Kallanish reports.
