Audi mulls shutting down Brussels plant
German carmaker Audi has started a restructuring evaluation for its manufacturing plant in Brussels, Belgium driven by weak demand for its flagship electric SUVs, Kallanish reports.
The company has notified its workers of a potential risk of cessation of operations if no alternative is found. It is considering an early end of production of its Q8 e-tron electric vehicles as it faces a “sharp drop” in orders.
