ArcelorMittal invests in hydrogen
Steelmaker ArcelorMittal is investing in hydrogen with a first capital injection of $10 million (€8m) into renewable energy technology company Heliogen.
“Hydrogen sits at the heart of ArcelorMittal’s Innovative-DRI technology pathway, which involves using hydrogen instead of natural gas as the reductant in the production of direct reduced iron,” the company says in a note sent to Kallanish.
