ANTIMONY: Perpetua to provide antimony for Ambri battery production
Idaho-based Perpetua Resources Corp is entering into an agreement with Ambri Inc to provide antimony for its battery storage systems, Kallanish reports.
The antimony will come from Perpetua’s planned Stibnite gold mine in Idaho. The contracted amount of antimony is enough to generate more than 13 gigawatts of storage or the same as eight times the entire US energy storage market in 2020, it says.
