AMTE Power to scale up sodium-ion cell production in UK
UK battery cell companies Faradion and AMTE Power have sealed a collaboration under which lithium-ion battery cell manufacturer AMTE has a license to use Faradion’s sodium-ion technology.
The deal enables AMTE Power to use its battery manufacturing capabilities in Thurso, Scotland, to scale up Faradion’s patented technology. These cells will be incorporated into battery packs and used in energy storage solutions (ESS) for renewable projects.
