AMG Lithium eyes hydroxide supply deal with FREYR Battery
Netherlands-based AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group said Tuesday its subsidiary AMG Lithium might supply lithium hydroxide to Norwegian battery start-up FREYR Battery, Kallanish reports.
The companies signed an MOU for the supply of 3,000-5,000 tonnes/year of battery-grade lithium hydroxide. They haven’t indicated the term of a potential offtake nor when the companies intend to progress negotiations towards a commercial deal.
