Alstom partners with Plastic Omnium for train H2 storage
Alstom and Plastic Omnium are joining forces to develop a hydrogen storage technology for the railway industry. The French railway giant and the local hydrogen mobility specialist have signed a collaboration agreement and have put together a team to develop storage solutions for the Italian and the French railway markets. From 2022, the firms intend to test their new technology on direct train trips on non-electrified lines.
