Albemarle to develop $180m NC lithium technology park
US specialty chemicals company Albemarle Corp says it intends to develop a $180 million technology park in North Carolina for advanced lithium development, Kallanish reports.
The so-called Albemarle Technology Park, described by the North Carolina-based company as a lithium innovation hub, will be located in Charlotte. Initial occupancy is expected by early 2025 with completion by late 2026.
