Aker Horizons, Statkraft partner on 600MW green ammonia project
Norwegian companies Aker Horizons and Statkfraft have partnered to develop a 600-megawatt green hydrogen and ammonia project in Narvik, Norway, Kallanish learns.
Located at Kvandal, the plant is expected to produce 1,000-1,500 tonnes/day of green ammonia, with a final investment decision (FID) expected in 2025 and plans to begin commercial operations in 2028.
