AGL to develop 250MW battery storage in South Australia
Australia’s AGL is planning to develop a long-duration, grid-scale battery in South Australia, as part of its plan to develop 850 megawatts of energy storage capacity across the National Energy Market by 2023-2024.
The battery system, to be developed in stages, will produce peak evening power for Adelaide, Australia, and surrounding areas, Kallanish reports.
