AFC Energy’s ‘ammonia cracker’ tech achieves H2 milestone
England’s AFC Energy has used its “ammonia cracker” technology to successfully achieve 99.99% hydrogen from single reactor testing.
The results were independently tested by the UK’s National Physical Laboratory, which confirmed that AFC Energy’s cracker and downstream purification technology achieved the ammonia parts-per-billion international standard for fuel-cell-grade hydrogen.
