AFC Energy unveils ammonia-to-hydrogen cracker in the UK
UK-based AFC Energy says it has produced the first “cracked” hydrogen from its modular ammonia-to-hydrogen cracker system at its demonstration plant in the UK.
AFC Energy designed, built and commissioned the cracker demonstration plant – which it claims is the world’s largest such plant – this year. It can produce 140 tonnes/year of fuel cell-grade hydrogen, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
