ACEA urges policymakers to strengthen targets for EV charging infrastructure
The European automotive industry is once again calling on policymakers to reinforce the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) to accelerate deployment of charging infrastructure.
On Wednesday, trade body ACEA said without strong AFIR targets, infrastructure rollout will continue to be patchy and with stark disparities across EU member states. There’s a clear gap between central and eastern European countries and western European countries.
