12 state governors ask Biden for federal ICE ban
A gaggle of 12 US state governors are asking President Joe Biden to make a federal commitment to phasing out internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles by 2035, in line with their state-level commitments.
The request comes in the form of a letter signed by the governors of California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island and Washington, Kallanish notes.
