Amogy, Hanwha firms join forces on ammonia-powered vessels
US-headquartered Amogy has partnered with South Korean companies Hanwha Ocean and Hanwha Aerospace to deploy an ammonia-powered vessel, Kallanish reports.
Under a contract, ocean solutions provider Hanwha Ocean will purchase Amogy’s ammonia-to-electrical power system and Hanwha Aerospace’s hydrogen fuel cell system. With plans to begin their collaboration within a year, the partners aim to decarbonise the maritime sector using Amogy’s technology.…
