California attracts hydrogen investment from Hyundai, Toyota
Carmakers Hyundai and Toyota have announced two separate projects to boost their hydrogen operations in California.
Under the NorCAL ZERO Project, Hyundai deployed 30 Class 8 XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks in the state. The vehicles, which have a 400-mile range, will operate in drayage service hauling freight and cars to destinations in the Bay Area and the Central Valley.
