Xingcheng Special gains capacity quotas from Xingda Steel
China’s Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel Works has gained 1.2 million tonnes/year of iron capacity quotas from Xingda Steel in the same province of Jiangsu, Kallanish learns from the Xuzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.
Xingda Steel has to dismantle one 450 cubic metre-blast furnace and one 550cum BF to free up these iron capacity quotas. Xingcheng Special Steel has not yet stated which specific projects the quotas will be used for.
