US steel import volumes decline in May: AISI
US steel import permit applications for May totalled 2.62 million short tons, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute’s (AISI) computation of the Commerce Department’s Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis (SIMA) data.
