US long steel exports decline in April
Long carbon steel export volumes shipped from the US fell in April for the second consecutive month, Kallanish learns from the latest data published by the US Department of Commerce.
According to Commerce's steel monitor, long carbon steel exports decreased by 0.6% month-on-month in April to a total of 152,299 tonnes. Countries receiving significant quantities in April were Canada (84,972t) and Mexico (49,474t), followed by the Dominican Republic (5,236t). Mon…
