Turkey’s Habaş to build Ankara solar power plant
Turkish electric arc furnace-based steelmaker Habaş plans to build a solar power plant in Polatlı, Ankara.
According to Turkey’s Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation, the environmental impact assessment process has begun for the solar power project.
The project, with a total investment amounting to TRY 2.628 billion ($78.3 million), will involve the installation of 347,274 solar panels to produce 295.63 million kWh of electricity annually.
