Tianshan Steel produces rebar at Bazhou steelworks
Tianshan Steel’s Bazhou steelworks dispatched its first batch of rebar to the market on 18 February. The brand name of the rebar is “Huli”, Kallanish notes.
Tianshan Steel is an acquisition platform under Baowu’s Bayi Steel with a mission to integrate steelmakers in Xinjiang. The company spent CNY 2.181 billion ($337.6 million) for 100% equity of Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Xinjiang last year, and renamed it Tianshan Steel Bazhou Company.
