Taihang Steel operates new blast furnace
Hebei Taihang Iron & Steel ignited on 20 February the No.1 blast furnace belonging to its relocation project, Kallanish notes.
China Second Metallurgical Corporation (MCC2) was responsible for the construction in Nanminghe Industrial Park in Hebei’s Wu'an city. The firm plans two 1,520m3 BFs, with a total iron capacity of 2.68 million tonnes/year at its relocated steelworks.
