NLMK awaits US slab duty exclusion request decision
NLMK is awaiting a decision from the US Department of Commerce regarding its second request to exclude slab imports for NLMK Indiana and NLMK Pennsylvania from 25% Section 232 tariffs, the company tells Kallanish.
The request for exclusion of NLMK's annual US rolling mill requirement of 1.4 million tonnes of slab was filed in July, and the decision typically comes within 90 days.
