Metinvest to increase coal production in September
Metinvest's Pokrovskugol coal mine is preparing to launch a new longwall with reserves of 1.5 million tonnes of coking coal, Kallanish notes.
Longwall 2 is in the northern panel of block 11 and mining of coal here will start already in September, the enterprise claims.
In July, Pokrovskugol said it is preparing to launch a new longwall with reserves of almost 2 million tonnes of coking coal. Longwall 1 is in the southern panel of block 10.
