JSW sees marginal rise in May steel production
JSW Steel’s standalone crude steel output grew 6% on-year to 2.09 million tonnes in May, against 1.98mt a year earlier, the former informs in a press release seen by Kallanish.
JSW Ispat Special Products’ crude steel production also increased 4.92% to 0.53mt during the period. The company’s JSW Steel USA-Ohio plant saw crude steel output surge 77% to 0.85mt in May versus 0.48mt last year.
