Jingye Group completes blast furnace demolition
Northern China's Hebei Jingye Group has finally demolished its one 450m³ blast furnace and two 588m³ BFs. Local authorities have confirmed the demolitions, Kallanish notes.
The three BFs have a total capacity of 1.926 million tonnes/year of iron, and the freed capacity quotas will be used for Jingye’s new 1,500m³ BF. This is part of the first phase of its capacity replacement project.
