Iron ore slumps as freight hits new low
Seaborne iron ore prices fell even further on Friday, finally breaking definitively below the $45/tonne barrier. Alongside lower iron ore prices, freight costs have also been slumping, with the Baltic Dry Index hitting new multi-year lows.
