Indonesian nickel pig iron plant enters administration
Indoferro Iron and Steel, part of Growth Steel Group, says that it ceased operations on 20 July, Kallanish notes. The 500,000 tonnes/year nickel pig iron facility was no longer viable following two government decisions earlier this year, and it is letting go around 1,000 employees, it adds.
