Ferrexpo increases first-half output as idled capacity returns
Ukraine-based Ferrexpo’s iron ore pellet production increased in January-June to almost 3.3 million tonnes, up by 76% compared to the second half of 2023, Kallanish notes.
Production of commercial ore concentrate in the first six months of 2024 amounted to 429,860 tonnes, up 171% on July-December 2023. Total commercial iron ore product output increased 83% to 3.73mt.
