Eurofer urges Commission to endorse CDU steel proposal
Eurofer has urged European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to endorse the German conservative CDU party’s proposal for a “European steel pact” and an “industrial deal”.
The European Pact for Steel was proposed to the Commission by the German delegation to the European People’s Party (EPP), with Eurofer calling it a “timely initiative”.
