Baosteel ships ‘carbon neutral’ steel pipe to Shell
Baowu Group subsidiary Baosteel has shipped the first batch of ''carbon-neutral'' steel products to Shell Singapore in November, Kallanish notes.
Approximately 1,700 tonnes of X65MSO high-steel grade LSAW pipes will be used in the Singapore SBM submarine pipeline project. This also marks Baosteel's first bulk supply of acid-resistant submarine pipelines to international oil companies, Baosteel says.
