Baosteel produces China's widest stainless thick plate
China’s Baosteel has achieved first mass production of the widest stainless steel thick plate in the country. The plate was rolled from wide slab provided by Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Tisco).
The product will be mainly used in the manufacturing of transportation pipelines of liquid natural gas (LNG), and will break a long-term dependence on imports.
