Baosteel lowers flats' list prices for May
China’s Baosteel has released details of its new list prices for May. The company has decided to cut most flat product prices, the others will remain unchanged, Kallanish notes.
Flat offers for hot and cold rolled coil have been lowered by CNY 100/tonne ($14.2/t) and CNY 150/t respectively, heavier falls than in April. Pickled product prices move down by CNY 100/t. Prices for galvanized products are being cut by CNY 150/t.
