Baosteel Huangshi starts relocation
Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel's Huangshi Coated and Galvanized Sheet Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of its relocation project this week, Kallanish notes. The first phase of the project started in August 2019.
The second-phase project includes the construction of a 500,000 tonnes/year capacity pickling line, a 230,000 t/y cold strip mill and a 250,000 t/y galvanizing line. It is expected to commission in 2022.
